About Rowan
At a very young age Rowan developed a love for two wheels. By the time he was 18 months old, he was on a balance bike zipping around the drive way. His parents saw this as an opportunity to be able to get out for long hikes; Rowan would bike the trails along side his strolling parents. He hasn't left the dirt track since.
Rowan has a passion for all things bike - he loves to try new tricks on his BMX bike. He enjoys the challenge of a long cross-country MTB ride. And he absolutely lives for the thrill of a gnarly downhill track. He enjoys spending time helping to build track, and especially loves the social aspect of trail building. Rowan loves introducing other people, and children especially, to bike riding and mountain biking. When his dad leads local mountain bike rides, Rowan is often front and center during the quick beginners' tutorial, helping new riders understand the basics. He beams pride when a friend overcomes a biking challenge; he always has an encouraging word to offer when someone needs a little extra push.
As a second-grader, Rowan is homeschooled by his parents. He also takes piano lessons; music is an important form of expression for him and he spends much of his time composing songs. This 8-year old loves to cook, spend time with his family, cuddle his cat, and reads books like they're going out of style. He also really loves playing in the dirt.

Upcoming
An upcoming move to Vancouver, BC, Canada, means Rowan is gearing up for riding such legendary places as Whistler Bike Park and North Shore Trails. With his first downhill race under his belt in 2020, Rowan is looking forward to participating in the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking Next Gen MTB Tour or the Northwest Cup Downhill Race Series.
